I will be writing an essay based on this one-hour interview.
I chose my teacher for the interview and I wonder what would be some interesting questions for an interview.
I’m mainly focusing on their earlier years like what they did in college and what did they remember the most etc..
Please tell me any that you come up with.
Thank you!
What inspired them to become a teacher?
Did they have a favorite teacher?
What kind of student were they?
What’s the most trouble they ever got in, at school?
What other career paths did they consider?
I have a job interview tomorrow at a furniture store as a sales associate. How do you prepare for this type of interview? What are some questions that I can expect? What should I wear? Does anyone know what the pay may be like for this type of job?
Let"s hope these points help.
1. Always be 15mins - 30mins earlier. To fill up forms and get ready. Don’t come in sweaty and late.
2. Try to log into their website if any. To get a feel of what this company has to offer.
3. Always dress neat and smart. Shirt and pants will do alright.
4. Remember to shave, nostril hair trimmed.
5. For any sales job, always smile and have eye contact with the interviewer. This show that you are keen and interested in your conversation.
6. As for your salary wise. Depends greatly on the sizes of your comapny. Eg IKEA sales consultant is pay around S$ 1,300 for novice. This exclude commission.
7. Most likely question : Brief introduction of yourself and your job history. What is your strength and weakness?? What do you think you can gain from this position?? etc.
Lastly, always smile and be polite. If you are nervous, play with your toes or fingers…….
GD LUCK….
i have an interview for a student helper at a library and i just want to know what are some questions i can ask the interviewer to know more about the job.
What is the dress code? when can I start ?
Do i have to cut my long hair? (man)
What are my duties.?
Not exactly in that order though . If the change is small that you get the job ,offer to volunteer for a few weeks.
that shows character.
I have a big interview coming up on Monday. The company is flying me out all expenses paid. I am confident in my abilities and know that I am a good fit for the position but I get nervous at interviews! I tend to talk fast and swallow alot.
Any personal tips to put me more at ease when it comes time?
Do a rigorous workout before going. Obviously not right before going as you don’t want to be sweaty and gross but a good workout will release calming endorphins and relax your body. It’ll help get that nervous energy out.
I don’t know how to answer the question "what is your greatest weakness?" without making myself look bad. I would say that I am working on becoming more organized, or more assertive, but I don;t want them to think that I can’t do the job. What is a good answer that I could say?. If you could also give an example with the sample answer that would be great. Thanks!!!
The one I used for myself is, " I tend to get frustrated. at times, when I am involved in a complex project and my chain of thought gets interrupted."
How I handle it, is, I handle the interruption, then an
ask myself " where was I?" and get back to the complex project.
I am training to enter my first pageant and I am really nervous about the pageant interview portion of the contest. I have been looking from some good guides or websites for practice questions to prepare me for this. HELP!
Believe me I understand the jitters associated with the pageant interview process. I remember a few great contestants and a few unprepared (I believe there are no bad contestants) ones. They still make me cringe to this day. Having a good support system will help you get through this process and emerge a champion. That said there are two resources I believe will address your questions:
Use the resources at interviewpageantquestions.com which has some excellent suggestions and she also provides coaching too. And there is a good article at beautypageantquestions.wordpress.com, read it and it will also give you some good pointers on types of interview questions.
A woman, interviewing for an Medical Administrator position, answers the common interview question: Describe a major goal you set for yourself. This is an example of an GOOD way to answer this question.

I have a job interview friday to work as a cashier at panda express.. and im kinda shy and not that outgoing.. and i was hopeing i could get some good tips on things i could say so that i could get the job… thankx in advance!:)
Well… in this type of position you have to be out going and not shy of speaking up or over a mic…some places do that. If you want the job you have to show an interest of what you are applying for and in this case a cashier needs to know basic communication skills dealing with people that have different attitudes, and knowing you are there to help make things run smoothly. I would suggest when you talk to the person conducting the interview limit your answers to short but concise responses, and try not to use the word (um) in between your words. Keep eye contact, and strongly imply that you are willing to learn and develop more within in the company, and you like the thought of something challenging. My advice is simply be calm, and speak clearly do not put a lot of words in one sentence. Breathe in between thoughts. Well I hope you get the job, and all goes well. Oh! remember the interviewer wants to know you are there for the job not just for the money though you may be that is not the way to get the job. Good Luck!!
